Whitburn

    Late Summer Morning, Whitburn Seascape

Here you are seeing two images taken 22 minutes apart and later blended together during post processing using Photoshop. The first image was taken during twilight to capture the magic in the sky, during which the the limestone cliffs were in the shade and looked somewhat dull. A second image was taken just as the sun was rising and striking the cliffs giving a soft glow while producing more depth.

I’m sure this would cause a stir amongst the purists but the outcome of such techniques can be quite striking.
